小林大武壠語教材 Where Words Carry Heritage
與小林社區發展協會共同田調、企劃的《小林部落大武壠語教材》，由 Mata Taiwan 協助語料統整、教材撰寫與外籍插畫家媒合，將族語教學與文化記憶結合為一本既扎實又溫暖的語言學習工具書。本書從基礎發音與字母表出發，循序引導學習者進入日常情境，如問候、自我介紹、家庭稱謂、族群認同與飲食文化等，特別設計為初學者與親子共學友善，並穿插語法說明與文化筆記，讓語言學習成為認識大武壠歷史的入口。
教材核心語料來自小林部落，亦補充阿里關、甲仙埔等地的語音與歷史記錄，建立出適合當代教學的拼音系統與語音結構。書中同時收錄數詞變體、命名文化與祭歌片段，深入呈現大武壠語背後的文化脈絡。
對我們而言，這不僅是一套教材，更是一段重建語言、文化與身分連結的旅程。透過這本書，我們與小林族人一同寫下屬於當代大武壠的語言新頁。
Co-developed with the Siaolin Community Development Association, the Taivoan Language Textbook of Siaolin is a practical and culturally rich learning tool. Mata Taiwan contributed to content development, linguistic structuring, and matched the project with an illustrator from a fellow Austronesian culture.
The textbook introduces basic pronunciation and daily-use topics—greetings, self-introduction, family, identity, and food culture—designed for beginners and families. It also includes grammar tips, cultural notes, and historical references from Siaolin, Alikuan, and Kasianpoo, offering a clear entry point into Taivoan language and heritage.
More than a teaching resource, this book marks a step toward rebuilding the links between language, culture, and identity.
